Things I’ve designed.

neta Compliance Panel

  • Finance
  • Enterprise
  • Design system

Compliance management for companies with business units in several jurisdictions. An obligation calendar that runs to thousands of rows across countries, a company record dense enough to satisfy an auditor, and an approval flow you configure and preview in the same screen. I designed it end to end: module wireframes, hi-fi screens, and the design system engineering builds from, with tokens for colour, type and spacing and components specified down to their loading, empty, error and disabled states.

jinMap

  • Civic
  • Accessibility

A public map of support services for women in Istanbul, made with Kadın Zamanı Derneği. Filter by district, by institution and by the kind of help you need: psychological, social, legal or economic. Then see at a glance which districts have a centre that can help you in Kurdish. Every centre card carries address, phone, opening hours and a route link, because the moment someone opens this map is rarely a calm one.

InvestAG

  • Finance
  • Mobile

A mutual-fund research app for Turkish retail investors: 371 funds you can sort the way you would sort a spreadsheet, themed tags to find them by, and virtual portfolios you build, weight and share. The hard part was the portfolio builder: pick fund types, set their weights, pick funds inside each type, and never lose your place when you step away to read a fund’s detail page.

meslektaş

  • Legal
  • 0 → 1

A knowledge-duel game for Turkish lawyers, played between bar associations. Thirty seconds a question, ten XP for a right answer, and a statute reference under every single one, because the audience will look it up. Design system, onboarding, gameplay and league screens, plus a working prototype running on a bank of 574 reviewed questions.

SNP Service

  • Health
  • Consumer

A consumer genetics platform, and a product I work on as part of the team. You upload the raw DNA file you already own, from AncestryDNA, MyHeritage or FamilyTreeDNA, and get back readable insights on nutrition, sport, sensitivities and health. The design problem is trust: this is a field where confident-sounding claims are cheap, so every insight has to show how sure it is and what it rests on.

About

How I work.

I’m Özge Turgut. I work in fields dense with rules, data and risk, where a wrong turn in the interface costs someone real time or real money. I start with research, test ideas early, and follow the work all the way to launch.

Alongside client work I write on inclusive and ethical design, and my master’s thesis puts those arguments to work in a public-transport prototype. Building in public from Çanakkale.

AI is part of how I work now, not something bolted on beside it. I use it to move faster through research synthesis, copy and production variants, and to pressure-test my own thinking. What ships is still my judgement.

  • Research

Surveys, interviews and usability testing with the people who actually do the work.

  • Product design

Information architecture, flows and interface design for dense, rule-heavy screens.

  • Design systems

Components, tokens and documentation that survive contact with a real codebase.

  • Accessibility

WCAG 2.2 AA as a starting condition, not a layer added at the end.

  • AI in the workflow

Generative tools used where they genuinely speed the work up, and set aside where the call has to be mine.

  • Tools

Figma for systems, prototypes and handoff. Adobe CC and After Effects for motion.

Kapsayıcı Kullanıcı Deneyimi Tasarımı: Görünmez Kullanıcılar İçin Görünür Deneyimler ve Bir Uygulama Önerisi Not yet published

Master’s thesis · Graphic Design, Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University

Built on a 142-person survey, the applied chapter is “nereye?”, a multimodal transit app covering buses, ferries, district minibuses and walking. 53 screens designed to WCAG 2.2 AA, with an Easy-Read mode, high-contrast and 200% text variants, and a SUS-based usability test plan.
